Name the checkpoint

A gate photo is more useful with the site and checkpoint reference. Add a short note describing the visible condition instead of relying on the next guard to recognize the scene.

Record what needs attention

Keep observations specific and factual. Capture an overview plus relevant detail, following the site’s procedures.

  • Routine round: checkpoint and visible condition.
  • Exception: what was observed and where.
  • Handover: what remains for the next shift.

Use a readable patrol format

Choose a Timeprint layout with time, location, and short work notes. Keep the checkpoint name consistent across the team and record only the personal information needed for the task.

Keep handover records together

Organize relevant site photos in TeamSpace and share selected records with the responsible colleagues. Make outstanding issues explicit so they do not disappear among routine photos.
